Terms of Use
NearDoor connects nearby people. Users are responsible for what they post, request, agree to and do when they meet.
1. Using NearDoor
NearDoor lets users discover nearby posts, create posts, ask for help, reply to requests, chat, reserve interest and manage nearby activity. Users must use the app lawfully, honestly and safely.
2. User accounts
Users must provide accurate account and profile information. Phone verification, profile checks and seller checks are trust signals, not a guarantee that a person, item or service is risk-free.
3. Posts and requests
Users must not post or request:
- Illegal goods or services.
- Scams, fake pricing, fake location or misleading availability.
- Harassment, hate, threats, sexual exploitation or unsafe content.
- Stolen items or content they do not have permission to use.
- Anything that violates applicable law or store platform rules.
4. Moderation
NearDoor may approve, reject, close, remove or limit posts, requests, messages, verification submissions or accounts to protect users and keep the app useful. We may also restrict accounts that create risk or repeatedly break rules.
5. Payments and deals
NearDoor does not currently process payments in the app. Any payment, delivery, pickup or service arrangement is between users. Confirm items, services, prices and identity before paying or meeting.
6. Safety
Users should meet in public places when possible, avoid pressure, report suspicious behavior and never pay before confirming the item or service. NearDoor cannot guarantee the conduct of users.
7. Intellectual property
Users should only upload text, images and content they own or have permission to use. NearDoor may display user content inside the app to provide the service.
8. Changes
NearDoor may update these Terms as the app grows. Continued use of the app after changes means the user accepts the updated Terms.
